Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

The short version

  • We follow the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
  • We collect what we need to run your account, AI Studio and billing — nothing more.
  • Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
  • We never sell your personal information.
  • You can access, correct or delete your information at any time.

1. About this policy

Innovision Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian business. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to our website, AI Studio, creator dashboard and related services.

By using our services you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled as described here.

2. What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form) when you create an account.

Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile — your name, email address and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.

Contact and enquiry details: the name, email address, subject and message you provide through our contact form, chat assistant or by email.

Content you create: ideas, descriptions, prompts, files and outputs you create or upload in AI Studio and your dashboard.

Payment and subscription information: your plan, subscription status, billing dates and a Stripe customer reference. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored by us.

Usage information: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (derived from IP address) and how you interact with the site, collected through Google Analytics and cookies.

You can browse much of our website without giving us your name, but we need an account and contact details to provide AI Studio and paid plans.

3. Why we use it

We use personal information to create and manage your account; provide AI Studio and generate the outputs you request; process subscriptions and manage billing; respond to enquiries and provide support; send service-related messages (such as account, security and billing notices); keep our services secure and prevent misuse; understand how our site is used so we can improve it; and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We will only send marketing messages with your consent, and every marketing message will include a way to opt out.

4. Third-party service providers

We share personal information with trusted providers only as needed to run our services:

Stripe — processes subscription payments and stores your card details. Stripe’s handling of payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.

Google — provides Google sign-in (if you choose it) and Google Analytics for usage statistics.

Hosting and infrastructure providers — host our website, database and file storage.

AI providers — process the prompts and content you submit in AI Studio and our chat assistant in order to generate responses. We do not permit them to use your content to identify you.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they or their sub-processors operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle personal information in a way that is consistent with the APPs.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls limiting who can view data, and private storage for uploaded files.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. Account information and the content you create are kept while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable time, unless we need to keep certain records — for example, transaction records for tax and accounting purposes — to meet legal obligations.

8. Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can view and update your name and details in Dashboard → Settings. You can also ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time — usually within 30 days — and will explain our reasons if we are unable to do what you ask.

9. Cookies and opting out of analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site.

You can opt out of analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop you from signing in.

10. AI Assistant (Chatbot)

The chat assistant on our website is an automated AI system, not a person. When you use it, we process the messages you type and technical data such as your IP address, which we use to limit request rates and prevent abuse. Your messages are sent to our AI service provider to generate replies. We do not store chat conversations in our database. If you choose “Continue in AI Studio”, your idea draft is kept only in your browser session until you submit it. The assistant answers only from our published website content and public product catalogue. It cannot see other users’ ideas or accounts and will not share them. AI answers may be inaccurate. They are not legal, financial or tax advice and are not a binding offer; our Terms, Pricing and Refund Policy pages take precedence. Please do not enter sensitive personal information, passwords or payment details. To speak to a person, or to ask to access or correct your personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988), please use our Contact page.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.
